Years ago, when my daughter was 6 or 7 years old, she would write letters to her grandpa, sending her kisses and hugs to him. Grandpa always wrote back :).
Lunch box notes were my “love notes” to my children when they were going to school. The notes were reminders that I thought of them while they were having their lunch or their snacks.
Now, I have “volumes” of drawings and notes from my grandchildren, expressing their love and showing their concern on how I and their grandpa are.
Young or old, we all enjoy getting letters from people we love. There are a lot of reasons for writing letters and one of them is, these can be read, re-read and saved!
Do you still get hand-written letters through the snail mail?
